These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement governing the use of TenAI’s Studio.
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to TenAI’s Consulting India Pvt. Ltd.
“Platform” or “Service” refers to TenAI’s Studio mobile applications, website, and related services.
“User” refers to any individual accessing the Platform.
“Participant” refers to a user participating in hackathons.
“Organizer” refers to individuals or organizations hosting hackathons.
“Submission” refers to projects, code, or materials submitted in hackathons.
“User Content” refers to any information uploaded by users to the Platform.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If users do not agree to these Terms, they must not use the Platform.
3. Eligibility
Users must:
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have legal capacity to enter into agreements
• Not be prohibited by law from using the Platform
Users aged 13–18 must have parental or guardian consent.
4. Account Registeration
Users may be required to create an account.
Users agree to:
• Provide accurate information
• Maintain updated profile details
• Protect account credentials
Users are responsible for activities conducted through their accounts.
5. License to Use the Platform
TenAI’s Studio grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform.
Users may not:
• Reverse engineer the platform
• Copy or reproduce platform code
• Resell or sublicense the service
• Remove proprietary notices
6. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
• Violate applicable laws
• Upload harmful or malicious code
• Impersonate other individuals
• Manipulate hackathon judging systems
• Scrape or harvest platform data
• Create deceptive accounts
Accounts violating these rules may be suspended.
7. User Responsibilities / Platform Usage Rules
Judge Confidentiality and Ethical Conduct
Individuals participating as judges on TenAI’s Studio may have access to project submissions, prototypes, documentation, and other intellectual property provided by participants during a hackathon or innovation challenge.
Judges agree to treat all submissions and related materials as confidential information. Such materials may only be used for the purpose of evaluating submissions within the context of the event for which they were assigned.
Judges must not copy, distribute, disclose, or use submitted materials for personal, commercial, or competitive purposes without the explicit permission of the submitting participant or team.
TenAI’s Studio reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any judge who violates these confidentiality obligations.
8. User Generated Content
Users retain ownership of their intellectual property.
By submitting content, users grant TenAI’s Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute content for platform operation.
9. Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property Ownership
Participants retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in the projects, ideas, code, designs, documentation, and other materials submitted through the Platform.
By submitting content to the Platform, participants grant TenAI’s Studio a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store, display, and process such submissions solely for the purpose of facilitating hackathon participation, judging, and event administration.
Judges, organizers, and other users may access submissions only to the extent necessary for event participation, evaluation, or review. They may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit participant submissions without explicit authorization from the respective participants.
TenAI’s Studio does not claim ownership of participant submissions.
10. Hackathon Participation
Hackathons hosted on the Platform may include additional rules defined by organizers.
Participants must comply with:
• These terms
• Event specific rules
11. Organizer Responsibility
Hackathons and innovation challenges hosted on TenAI’s Studio may be organized by educational institutions, companies, communities, or other third-party entities.
Event organizers are solely responsible for the management, execution, rules, prizes, timelines, and communications related to their respective events.
TenAI’s Studio acts solely as a technology platform that enables organizers to host and manage events. The Platform does not guarantee the fulfilment of prizes, event outcomes, judging decisions, or organizer commitments.
Participants acknowledge that any disputes related to event management, prizes, or organizer conduct must be addressed directly with the respective event organizer.
Hackathon organizers are responsible for:
• Providing accurate event information
• Managing judging processes
• Distributing prizes
• Complying with applicable laws.
TenAI’s Studio does not manage third-party events.
12. Team Collaboration
Users may collaborate in teams.
Team members are responsible for determining ownership of shared work.
TenAI’s Studio does not resolve disputes between team members.
13. Idea Submission Disclaimer
Multiple participants may independently develop similar ideas.
TenAI’s Studio does not guarantee uniqueness of submissions and is not responsible for intellectual property disputes.
14. Public Showcase of Submissions
By submitting projects, participants grant TenAI’s Studio the right to showcase submissions on:
• The platform
• Promotional materials
• Social media
• Innovation showcase
Participants retain ownership of their work.
15. Competition Integrity
Participants must submit original work.
Submissions containing:
• Plagiarism
• Fraudulent claims
• Unauthorized third-party materials
may be disqualified.
16. Prizes and Rewards
Prizes offered in hackathons are the responsibility of the event organizers.
TenAI’s Studio does not guarantee prize distribution.
Participants are responsible for any applicable taxes.
17. Platform Neutrality
TenAI’s Studio operates solely as a technology platform.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Company is not the organizer or sponsor of hackathons hosted by third parties.
18. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party tools such as:
• Authentication providers
• Cloud services
• Analytics providers.
TenAI’s Studio is not responsible for third-party services.
19. Third-Party Events
Event Modifications and Cancellations
Event organizers may modify, postpone, or cancel hackathons hosted on the Platform due to operational, logistical, or other reasons.
TenAI’s Studio is not responsible for event cancellations, modifications, delays, or prize distribution decisions made by third-party organizers.
The Platform’s role is limited to providing the infrastructure used to host and manage such events.
20. Service Availability
The Platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
Service interruptions may occur due to:
• Maintenance
• Infrastructure failures
• Internet disruptions.
Users are responsible for maintaining backup copies of their submissions.
21. Suspension and Termination
TenAI’s Studio may suspend or terminate accounts that:
• Violate these Terms
• Threaten platform security
• Engage in fraudulent activity.
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TenAI’s Studio shall not be liable for:
• Indirect damages
• Loss of profits
• Reputational harm
• Loss of data.
Total liability shall not exceed USD $100 or the amount paid by the user in the previous 12 months.
23. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify TenAI’s Studio against claims arising from:
• Their use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of third-party rights.
24. Force Majeure
TenAI’s Studio shall not be liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control including:
• Natural disasters
• Cyberattacks
• Power failures
• Government actions.
25. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
26. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation.
If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement between users and TenAI’s Studio.
